A beautiful ale to behold. A dark slightly hazy golden colour and a good sized frothy white head that leaves sticky lace all down the glass as it empties. A fresh malty and fruity aroma... very pleasant. A mostly malty sweet beer (though not in any way cloying) around the middle of the sip a spicy hop bite, then it's a lingering bitterness till the end. Feels good on the palate; my only complaint is that there was maybe too much carbonation. But thats minor stuff. Overall a wonderful summer brew, perhaps the best I have tasted this season.
