This is a strange Bavarian organic pilsner. It has a toffee malt aroma with mild hops. However, on the palate it tastes distinctly of fudge and coconut - very odd indeed. It is not particularly sweet, and there are some very light floral hop notes, but otherwise it's really not what one expects of a pilsner at all - more like Malibu. A bit of a struggle, really. Aftertaste is minimal, but slightly sweet and coconutty. We scanned the label of this one carefully, but it appears to contain only (organic) hops, malt, yeast and water à la Rheinheitsgebot - no sign of coconut adjuncts whatsoever. Don't try this at home.
