This is good tastless non-offensive, gettin' drunk beer. Most cheap bender beers have some nasty aftertaste, but this ones pretty much perfect for the non snob, let's get plowed crowd.

Gourmands, those who simply eat and drink to excess, are not properly qualified to discuss the niceties of good food and drink as are gourmets, those devoted to refined sensuous enjoyment of especially good food and drink.
Those who simply drink beer in order to get drunk are the bibulous equivalent of gourmands and their utterings have no place on a board that purports to discuss the finer points of beers.
Whereas I have little issue with the comments made by this reviewer, I make this general point to protest against those postings of the "...its reel cheep and u can get lickerd for only 10 bucks its the best u moronas..." variety that offend the eye and the brain alike.

I would like to believe that this is a beer just like any other, and if you ask any alcoholic, after drinking the same "sh*t" for a couple of years, just like us college kids.. nati light taste as good as any.. and no worse than any.. and guess what.. its only 8.99 right now.. sounds like a steal to me..

I see the veracity of my previous posting has been entirely verified by Ben O U...
And incidentally, Ben, A-B Natural Light is not "beer just like any other". It hardly even deserves the appellation "beer".
Richard English

If I wanted to sit down and enjoy the taste of a good beer I would buy a Fat Tire, Boulevard, or some sort of honey wheat beer. But lets face I dont drink to enjoy the taste, if that were the case I would grab a bottle of boones farm or some other alcohpop. Being a college student 98% of the time I drink to get wasted. Out of all the cheap light beers out there Natural Light takes the cake. First, its an Anheuser-Busch product, brewed in beautiful St. Louis, MO. So basically it is a watered down version of Bud Light, the most popular beer in the US. Second who wants to drink a Coors, or yet Miller product, I don't even like their premium beers let alone their cheap brew. And DICK in regards to the statement that "It hardly even deserves the appellation beer", go grab your dark amber, nasty lager, drink 3 and make me want to vomit, beer that you drink and cheers to you old timer.
nattylight

nattylight, I fear you are a very ignorant person on two counts. Firstly, you are ignorant about beer. Most of the people who post on this site do not drink to get drunk. Like myself, they drink to beer to appreciate all the flavours it contains and to appreciate the skill that goes into brewing the fine beers that are available all over the world as opposed to the swill that most big brewers, be they American, British or European. Secondly, you are ignorant as in rude for the insults you cast at Richard, who is one of the better and most prolific posters on this site. Finally, you comments about "Alcopops" just about sums up the maturity of both your tastebuds and your outlook on life.
John Lees

If you don't drink for the taste, why not just buy a bottle of cheap vodka - job done...

Quote "...And DICK in regards to the statement that "It hardly even deserves the appellation beer", go grab your dark amber, nasty lager, drink 3 and make me want to vomit, beer that you drink and cheers to you old timer. ..." I wish I could respond but, since I fear I don't understand what you're trying to say, I cannot do so. If it is praise of my sentiments or agreement with my ideas, thank you.

This "beer" is about as natural as Pam Anderson's chest. Britons occasionally nickname their beers as a term of endearment; "the dog" in reference to Newcastle for instance. However, when such a distinction is afforded to a beer in the States, it's usually a dubious one. "Natty Lite" joins the ranks of "Old Pyle" & "Milwaukee's Beast" as the dregs of the American beer world.
Kyle Barhamand

Love the Dirty 30 of Natty. It's cheap, a mainstay at any midwestern frat house or trailer park, and it gets the job done.
Dave

What's a "dirty 30"?
Richard English

I do believe that a "dirty thirty" is a 30-pack of Nasty Light. Quite popular with frats and anyone else that doesn't want to remember the previous night.
Mike Valentine

Absolutely putrid. My own vomit tastes better.
