Lodzkie (subsidiary of Kaltenberg)Glob PremiumABV 5.5% Vol 500 ml bottle Poland Mid-price Flavour 5

Blonde lager from Lodz ('Woodge', as Polish people pronounce it). German-style hops (Hallertau?) in the aroma, dry, slighly fruity, dry finish with little bitterness. Drinkable enough, but unspectacular. Review submitted by: Laurent Mousson |
Review updated 17 July 2000
Browary Lodzkie (Lodzkie brewery) is an independent brewery, not a subsydiary of Caltenberg. The mistake probably comes from the fact, that it used to produce Caltenberg beer under licence.
