AdnamsOyster StoutABV 5% Vol 568 ml draught UK Expensive Flavour 5

[on draught at the Red Lion, Southwold, March 2008] A thin brown head quickly dissipates, leaving the usual stout flavours of coffee and chocolate. The aftertaste and mouthfeel is oddly reminiscent of flat coca cola. Overall impression was that it was a bit thin and watery compared to other stouts, and the flavours are rather muted. Not bad, but a disappointment compared to Adnams' other brews. Review submitted by: wheresthepath |
